SAN JOSE, CA/USA (17 January 2000) -- Bryan Kelln has been named president and chief executive officer at RockShox, a leading manufacturer of mountain biking suspension systems. He succeeds interim CEO Steve Simons, a company co-founder, who remains chairman of the board.
Kelln was most recently senior vice president and general manager of the telecommunications and power cables businesses at BICCGeneral, a global manufacturer and distributor of wire and cable products. Previously he was with Mercer Management and Consulting.
"Bryan has a proven track record in implementing change and driving results through a team-based problem solving approach," Simons said.
Kelln said he saw great growth potential in the company, particularly in taking advantage in its manufacturing capabilities in the United States and in Asia. (WJ)
