LONDON, UK (23 August 2000) - American Wal-Mart, the world's biggest retail chain, wants to buy British drugstores and pharmacy chain Boots. Last year, Wal-Mart took over the British food chain Asda. With Wal-Mart as the biggest bicycle retailer in the USA, England might get a new contender for a place on the bicycle market.
