TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Despite Bike Europe’s last week’s report on price increases for tyres & tubes (at OEM level) Hutchinson emphasized that it is lowering its prices.
Kevin Buchet, Hutchinson’s OE and export manager, reported to Bike Europe: “I’m just back from the Ride On show and wanted to react to your article named: “Prices for Tyres on the Rise”.
"Hutchinson’s policy for OEM this year is to have a price list cheaper than last year in order to be back on track on the OE market after an amazing year for us in the export aftermarket (+31%).”
