ROMILLY-SUR-SEINE, France – Jérôme Valentin has been appointed CEO of Cycleurope Industries SAS Romilly-sur-Seine. He took over this position from Tony Grimaldi who stepped back as chief executive of Cycleurope’s Romilly-sur-Seine plant after the latest reorganization. In the past years he has been travelling back and forth every month between Sweden and France.
Tony Grimaldi will remain president of the Cycleurope and vice chairman of the family-owned parent company in Sweden, Grimaldi Industry Group, which is chaired by his father Salvatore.
The 53-year old Valentin was previously general manager of Uniross Batteries, based in Paris. Prior to Uniross, Valentin held executive positions in France, Singapore and China for other industrial companies such as Saft, Tyco Electronics and Schindler.
