Bike bag maker Basil presents two brand new lines of ultra-feminine bicycle bags: Basil Elements and Basil Katharina at Eurobike this year. Both lines are made of washed, recycled canvas, illustrating that style and eco-friendliness can be a perfect match. Eco-friendliness is also reflected in the brand [Re]-cycling, created and patented by Basil. In addition, there are two new series of baskets, including one made of sustainably grown rattan. And after adjusting the mounting systems, Basil has become almost completely ‘e-bike suitable’.
The Basil Elements is one of the lady’s bags in the new Elements series. Natural chic, made of recycled, washed canvas, with synthetic leather details and luxurious lining. It is available in two contemporary colours, Faded Blue and Faded Brown.
The Basil Katharina is the great vintage-look bag made of recycled, washed canvas. Its round shapes and nostalgic floral prints give the Katharina line an extra feminine look. Just like the Elements line, Katharina also sports a shoulder bag that can be attached to the bicycle safely and quickly using the special Basil hooks hidden in a zipper pocket.
A line of new rattan bike baskets, made of sustainably grown rattan, were inspired by old-fashioned bakers’ baskets. In two shades, naturally greyed and romantic brown, and three different models, including one with cover and one with open-weaved sides.
Basil products are available through selected specialist retailers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Australia, the USA and Canada.
