UNTERHACHING, Germany – Bavarian electric service provider TQ-Systems GmbH acquired the assets of Clean Mobile AG. The e-drive train system specialist had to apply for insolvency on 2nd February 2012. Insolvency proceedings started 1st April. According to receiver Dr. Christian Gerloff there have been several interested parties. He finally negotiated with three of them.
According to a press release the asset deal with TQ-Systems GmbH - also known as TQ-Group - led to a takeover of all financial Clean Mobile assets as well as a majority its staff. Terms of the takeover were not disclosed.
Leading electric service provider
TQ-Group was already a supplier of Unterhaching near Munich based Clean Mobile AG. TQ-Group introduces itself as, “a leading electric service provider for development and production of electric sub-assemblies and systems”. The group employs over 900 people and reaches yearly sales of 125 million euro. The company is based in the Southern Germany state of Bavaria (Seefeld).
Both TQ-Group GM’s Detlef Schneider and Rüdiger Stahl are excited about the take-over, “The market potential is huge and we will work together on promising Clean Mobile product ideas. Using the know-how of both company’s will guide us to success.”
