CHANGSHU, China – Former CEO and founder of frame manufacturer Kinesis Industry Co. Ltd., Tom Jeng is back in business. After he left his former company Jeng decided to stay in the bicycle industry and to set up a new frame production facility.
“We have located our new plant in the Chinese city of Changshu and it is called Jovial Bike Components Ltd.”, tells Tom Jeng. “The production of aluminum frames will be up and running this coming June. In the first half year, we will have a capacity of 15,000 units per month. Both 7005 and 6061 alloy models will be made.”
Including paint facility
The size of the Jovial Bike’s facility allows for two productions lines resulting in a maximum capacity of 60,000 frames (including a night shift) per month. As of October, the new factory will also have a painting facility of 5,000 frames per month in the first year. For more: tom.jeng@jovialbike.com
