    BRUSSELS, Belgium - To focus the trade benefits of the GSP system (Generalized System of Preferences) on those countries most in need, like Least Developed Countries (LDCs), which do not enjoy other trade preferences, the European Union will adopt a new system.

  • EU Expands Investigation Subsidized Bike Imports

    BRUSSELS, Belgium – The European Commission announced that it is expanding its investigation on subsidized bike imports from China on 14 November 2012. In the Official Journal of the European Commission it was on that day published that the Commission is extending its proceedings to imports of bicycles originating in China consigned from Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Tunisia.

  • Proposal to Exclude E-Bikes from RoHS-II Directive
