VIENNA, Austria – On February January 13, the fourth edition of the Europe Cup for Twowheel Mechanics will take place in the Technical School in Vienna, Austria. This competition is an initiative of the Swiss trade association and a Swiss training institute. The first Europe Cup for young two wheel mechanics took place in Germany in 2009.
For the fourth edition, the Europe Cup competition attracts participants from 5 different countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Both bicycle and motorcycle mechanics will be submitted to a number of practical tests.
This year, ETRA will be represented officially for the first time at the competition by Secretary General Annick Roetynck. She will also consult with the organizers on a possible involvement of ETRA in future competitions. This could include among other things initiatives to attract participants from a larger number of countries.
