For Velo each Taipei Cycle Show starts one day before the official show schedule. Then Velo’s president Stella Yu and her brother-in-law, Wellgo’s John Chen welcome all their business partners and friends at their traditional pre-party gala. This year was no exception.

They all came to enjoy a lavish ten-course dinner of Taiwanese specialties and abundant wines. No doubt about it: Velo’s Opening Night Party has established itself as the event-to-be-at at the annual Taipei Cycle Show – a counted 480 VIP guests responded to Stella’s invitation to see, be seen and kick-off 2013’s new business during the following four days.

Presentation of Velo’s newest innovations and technology
Noticeably enjoying herself at the party as well, Stella made the rounds to all of the 45 tables personally, greeting each of her guests, sharing anecdotes and toasting their mutually good business at each. Sales Director Ann Chen entertained and informed once again with her presentation of Velo’s newest innovations and technology in which T-technology plays a vital role. It’s Velo breakthrough in ultra-light saddle base construction through carbon fiber injection and optimum rail construction which was extensively featured in Bike Europe’s Taipei Show preview issue.

The same goes for the newly patented Vex foam process, providing the rider high shock absorption, low compression set and zero migration. Another enhancement to Velo MY 2013 saddles comes with the improved constant temperature saddle skins which are developed to resist extreme temperature swings.

Latest Vex Foam cushioning technology for VL 1491
Another newcomer in Velo’s MY 2013 line-up is the VL 1491. This is a competition saddle with enhanced lightness and comfort. With its saddle base and rail constructed of carbon fibers, the weight of the saddle has been kept to a mere 153 grams. Integrating the new black-and-white look popular in our 2013 models, the VL 1491 as a real “looker”. Not to be beat anywhere in comfort, this saddle has the advantage of the latest Vex Foam cushioning technology: low compression set, maximum shock absorption and zero migration. This combines flexibility with stability – giving optimum riding comfort over the long haul.
