Five new models were presented by Dahon at this year’s Taipei Cycle. Among them the award winning EEZZ. This newcomer won a Taipei Cycle Design & Innovation Award. Dahon’s new 16” model weighs only 9kg and can be folded or assembled in less than 7 seconds.

Concealed folding hinges within the EEZZ’s frame streamline the bikes structural design while innovative vertical folding technologies simplify and quicken the folding process. With the aid of twin pull rod systems on the seat post, the seat height extends and contracts automatically, eliminating the time needed for individual adjustment.

VISC P18 features new 9-speed Neos derailleurs
The VISC P18 is another performance bike in Dahon’s 2013 product line. This folder features new 9-speed Neos derailleurs front and rear combining in 18-speeds. It comes with a new low entry frame, alloy V-brakes, double-walled Vuelta rims and a Selle San Marco saddle.

The other new Dahon models are the IKON Electric with TranzX PST drive system and 36 Volt battery; the Formula S20 which comes with Clark’s hydro brakes and the latest patented Dahon frame technology with double butted Sonus tubing. Newcomer number five is the VYBE D2 which is an economic city-folder featuring SA 2-speed coaster brake hub with lights front and rear as well as mudguards.
