COLOGNE, Germany – Known as one of the biggest motorcycle shows, the e-bike’s importance on the Intermot is growing every year. Over 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world will present their latest product developments in motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, as well as the most essential innovations in the areas of electric vehicles, accessories, apparel, parts, customizing, travel and workshop equipment.
The Intermot Cologne is organized by the Koelnmesse GmbH in close cooperation with the German Motorcycle Industry Association, IVM. Following the successful 2010 edition, the Intermot Cologne 2012 will strengthen the connection between business and trade visitors.
It underlines the importance of Intermot as an international business platform with a strong participation of domestic and foreign trade specialist. In 2010 some 52,394 trade visitors from 108 countries were registered. The number of foreign visitors increased significantly by 13% to 39% or 20,538 buyers.
On the exhibitors side it looks like the 2012 edition will be most interesting. Established brands like Vectrix, e-max, GOVECS, Brammo Zero and SFM (Sachs) as well as new vendors like e-Tropolis and e-bility, the cult brand as “e-Schwalbe” and Ebretti Borghus will present their innovations.
In addition to the exhibition the 2012 Intermot will offer the visitors impressive shows and many other highlights on topics of motorcycles, scooters and motor sports. It will cover halls 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Cologne exhibition center, an area of 110,000 square meters as well as the entire outdoor area of the Koelnmesse, some 75,000 hectares.
Intermot 2012 will take place from October 3 – 7 in Cologne, Germany.
