MOSCOW, Russia (3 March 2000)–Magnesium Litech, manufacturer of Ultra-lightweight magnesium bicycle frames, has signed a multi-year production contract with Keef Cycles through its US office. Keep Cycles is a division of Magnesium Technologies (trading symbol MGTK) and specializes in lightweight and sturdy cycling equipment.
The contract between Magnesium Litech and Keef calls for a minimum of 15,000 mountain bike frames per year. According to Litech, these frames will be supplied on an exclusive basis.
In addition, Magnesium Litech, which also produces road and BMX frames, says it will also produce a new line of dual suspension mountain bike frames for a UK company using that company’s design. According to Magnesium Litech sales manager Anatoly Tsura, the recent report stating that it is producing frames for the US mountain bike brand Marin are untrue. (JW)
