FOOT HILL RANCH, US (February 17th) – Oakley continues its growth away from their original business – shades are selling in far less quantity than the other, affiliated Oakley products. A 23% growth over 2003 in shoes, apparel and other stuff but not in shades. Shoe sales alone rose by 17% to US$ 36.5 million, driven mainly by sandals and golf shoes. Apparel and accessories increased by 34% reaching US$ 76.0 million – but the net income declined by 6 % in total (MH)
