SAO PAULO, Brazil (17 March) – The Brazilian two wheeler industry will surpass the magical 1 million unit mark this year. After an already excellent performance in 2003 (954.620 units) the sights are set for more. Brazil produces bicycles, mopeds and light motorcycles mainly for the domestic market: of that 1 million bikes just some 100.000 are destined for export. (MH)
