SAUSALITO, USA (August 3) – Bicyclists intimidated or attacked by motorists have a new way to respond: a Road Rage Report Card. The 2-by-4-inch cards are meant to be carried by bicyclists in a small bag with a golf scoring-sized pencil. The cards have space to fill out a license number, a description of the driver, as well as the location and time of the incident. The card also lists phone numbers of all Marin law enforcement agencies, including the Marin County Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol. Police can act more rapidly and more effective if the offenders’ details are noted correctly. Road rage directed at cyclists is a growing phenomena in the US. (MH)
