MILAN, Italy (November 16) – Italian motorcycle company Ducati announced that full-year results would be worse than 2003, with losses in the third quarter more than doubling, sending the stock free-falling nearly 9 % to all-time lows.

The firm said it made a loss before tax of € 13.3 million which compared with a € 5.4 million loss a year ago, with its business hit by a weak dollar, fewer bike sales and a delay in the launch of its new Monster S2R and 999 models.

Shares in Ducati were down 5.6 % at 1.01 euros, a 30-day daily average, with some 2.1 million shares changing hands.
