MAARSSEN, Netherlands (December 16) – French Go-Sport has released its figures over the first nine months of the year. The overall results are slightly better than in 2003, but the domestic stores stay behind the overall trend. French Go-Sport stores only realised a 1.5% growth, while the international ones scored 38.8% over the same period. But in pure money, the French enterprise is still the mainstay of the company; not yet 10% of the factual turnover is created outside of France. The company’s other stores, Courir and Moviesport did slightly better, in that they made up for their not-so-good performance over the first three months of 2004. From an 8% minus situation to an overall 1.9% plus. Overall gain was € 487.712 million for the first 9 months of 2004.
