MONTREAL, Canada (Feb 11) – At the WADA congress in Montreal, the most conspicuous topic is a possible ban on Viagra for (male) athletes. Research has shown that the oxygen absorbing capacity of the Viagra user improves with his position over sea level. At great height, Viagra could even be used as a training aid. The WADA scientists are scrutinizing this unexpected aspect, and have indicated that they will propose Viagra for a ban if the oxygen effect is detectable at sea level.
The Viagra pill is rumoured to be a widespread fashion article in today’s professional bicycle racing, but of course for its primary goal. The scientists seem to forget that the athlete’s performance on the athletics track, in the swimming pool and on the bike may be seriously hampered by the primary effect. source:HBvL (OB)
