MicroShift Road Race Groupset Arsis

AD-II Engineering from Taichung, Taiwan, producers of Microshift transmission components launched its Arsis roadrace groupset at Eurobike. Along with front and rear derailleurs this groupset also contains a pair of Dual Control levers.

A special feature of these levers (and also to avoid Shimano, Campa and SRAM patents) is that they have separate shifters. Microshift claims that the separate tappers to shift up or down shifting avoids confusion; avoids unintended braking when shifting and makes control easier.

Further with the Arsis roadrace groupset comes a front derailleur with a 16T capacity for double chainring; top gear 50 – 56T and narrow chain cage for 10 speed. The rear derailleur is of course also suited for 10 speed. The rear derailleur has sealed bearings for smoother rolling.
