Come Back for Onza Tyres

“In mountain biking’s early days, Onza changed cycling with products unique in style, function and quality. Now Onza is back to do it again. The company’s tyre product line offers the highest quality for best performance,” says the Onza 2010 tyre brochure.

Currently Onza tyres are on the bikes of MTB Cycletech, BMC, Commencal and Louis Garneau (for the Asian and Japanese market). The 2010 Onza Mountain Bike range includes three models of which the Lynx is a fast rolling tyre offering great grip. Its narrow centered knobs and the wide open pattern on its outside are suited for crosscountry racers.

The Canis is combining low rolling resistance with a lot of traction. It’s best suited for crosscountry and all mountain riders. The Onza Ibex is known for fast, smooth and safe locomotion in mountaineous terrain, and is the company’s all round tyre. Onza is further offering two BMX tyres called R2 and XIII; the R2 is the all rounder while the other BMX Onza tyre is best suited for the real race tracks. The Preda is Onza’s light weight road bike tyre for competition, training and sports use.

The company also offers the Lavin road bike tyre which strengths are in its low rolling resistance and longevity. Dual-Compound-Rubber turns this one into a reliable training tyre. Onza’s Natrix Urban is the company’s 26” touring tyre. Its well-balanced tread offers low rolling resistance and runs quietly. For City/Touring/Trekking use there’s also the Lavin Urban offering loads of puncture resistance.
