NUNSPEET, The Netherlands – Shimano Europe Group helped the French cancer foundation “A chacun son Everest” (Everyone its own Mount Everest) with a donation of € 50.000.

The French cancer foundation aims to help children with leukaemia or cancer. The support given by this project consists of a mix of educational, sportive and other challenges for these children to regain confidence for themselves and their families.

At this moment, around 75% of the children and adolescents affected by cancer are being cured. A full recovery means however not only a healthy body but also recovery of a complete physical, mental and social state and a regained possession of the physical and intellectual capacities.

This foundation was founded in 1994 by Christine Janin. In the previous years, thousands of children have challenged their own ‘Everest’. For more information, click here
