Mavic Reports Strong Growth in Apparel and Shoes

Amer Sports Corp. reports that its subsidiary Mavic saw its turnover increase by 17% (8% in local currencies) during the first quarter of the year to 34.4 million euro. The company recorded strong growth in its sales of cycling apparel and cycling shoes.

Mavic Reports Strong Growth in Apparel and Shoes

HELSINKI, Finland – Amer Sports Corp. reports that its subsidiary Mavic saw its turnover increase by 17% (8% in local currencies) during the first quarter of the year to 34.4 million euro. The company recorded strong growth in its sales of cycling apparel and cycling shoes.

Amer Sports also reports that it is taking over the Mavic distribution in Italy and Spain from Vittoria (Italy) and Team Bike as well as other distributors in Spain. The Amer Sports sales offices in the two countries will handle the Mavic sales which will be supervised by Stefano Mottin in Italy who came from Campagnolo. Eric Foury will be in charge of Spain and Portugal.
