Dealer Event Winora Group Makes 2012 Season Most Promising

SCHWEINFURT, Germany – Last weekend the Schweinfurt headquarters of the Winora Group turned into a big showroom to display the product portfolio for 2012. Some 2,200 visitors came to see the new model ranges for Winora, Staiger and Haibike, together with the products of 40 suppliers of the wholesaler Wiener Bike Parts.

Executive manager of the Winora Group, Susanne Puello, was very enthusiastic about the the dealer event. “It was the best in our history, looking at the order books. We see an increase of 30% in orders compared to last year. This makes us most confident on the 2012 season. The design offensive pays off for our brands Haibike, Winora and Sinus. Next to e-bikes we see the same trend in our traditional bicycle segments.”

One of the highlights of the show was the new Staiger e-bike brand, Sinus. Featuring different types of well known e-bike drive train systems and several types of frame designs, made the Sinus line very popular among the IBDs. Also the Winora and Haibike e-bikes featuring the AGT (Automatic Gear Transmission) system by TranzX PST (photo) from the JD Group were well received and often seen on the large test track laid out in Schweinfurt.
