CLOPPENBURG, Germany – Germany’s largest manufacturer of dealer-distributed bicycles, Derby Cycle AG, will be included in the SDAX index of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange from September 19, 2011.

The SDAX is a stock market index composed of 50 small and medium-sized companies in Germany. These so-called small caps rank directly below the MDAX shares in terms of order book volume and market capitalization. They are thus the 81st-130th largest publicly traded companies in Germany.

“Inclusion in the SDAX marks a further milestone in our capital market history”, said Derby Cycle’s CEO Mathias Seidler, expressing his satisfaction at this step of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. “Following our IPO in February 2011, we hope that the SDAX listing will enhance our shares’ visibility, particularly on international capital markets.”

Uwe Bögershausen, CFO of Derby Cycle AG, went on to add: “This index inclusion reflects the high liquidity inherent in our shares. At the same time it shows that our shareholders fully back our products, our company and our strategy.”

The SDAX is one of five share listings at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The other listings are: DAX, MDAX, TecDax and Euro Stoxx 50.
