Dahon Reinvigorates Accessory Line
Dahon rolls out a completely new Dr. Hon branded accessory line for 2013. The brand is named after its founder and energetic leader Dr. David T. Hon (photo), a significant contributor to the folding bike industry. It is specifically designed for folding bicycles and supports the principal brand.
“The new line goes beyond standard accessories. Folding bicycles need special considerations for component and accessory designs and functionalities, which is why the new Dr. Hon accessory brand is designed to specifically target and compliment folding bikes,” explains Eddie Eccleston, Dahon Global Marketing and Sales Director.
Part of company’s 30th anniversary
In light of Dr. Hon’s innovative spirit, the company is launching the line as part of the company’s 30th anniversary. “It’s the opportune time to communicate to our customers that Dahon truly is a technological leader in the industry,” says Eccleston.
A preview of the accessory line, which includes a selection of bags and lights as well as specialty items such as waterproof smartphone cases and other unique bicycle tools, will be on display at Eurobike.
