Currently Eurobike Award 2012 winner ENVE composites employs about 70 people in its offices at Business Depot Ogden and the expansion of the production in Ogden will create another 324 jobs. “We haven’t yet decided whether to construct a new building or lease space and the location is not yet settled”, said CEO Sarah Lehman.

Tax incentives
The company’s expansion is supported by the state of Utah’s Governor’s Office of Economic Development by offering ENVE tax incentives worth close to 1.4 million US dollar.
Lehman said the company has already started hiring, but how quickly it fills all the 324 positions depends on how quickly it can ramp up production.

Business partner to Ogden
The importance of ENVE, who has been based in Utah since 2005 was underlined by the local authorities. “ENVE’s decision to expand within Ogden’s Outdoor Recreation Cluster was based on their thorough evaluation of all regional and international expansion options. We’re extremely pleased that Ogden won. ENVE is an important business partner to Ogden”, said Ogden Mayor Mike Caldwell.
