“The scooters will be offered to brands of cars and motorcycles who want to enter the world of two-wheeled EVs. We don’t want to become a large scooter brand. The S02 electric scooter is the result of over two years of research by the Barcelona team which has benefitted from their experience in previous development projects and electric motorcycles in Europe.”

Government support

“The project was supported by the Department of Industry and Catalan Government and currently we are looking for OEMs and distributors that want to offer quality, European made, electric vehicles to their resellers and fleet customers.

The S02 offers exceptional build quality, leading lithium battery technology, long range and is capable of carrying heavy loads. Over 90% of the scooter’s parts are manufactured locally.

Extractable battery pack

With the S02 model, Scutum launches one the first electric cargo scooter with a complete extractable battery pack. The S02 features a 4kW engine and also includes a Smartphone Dock and an innovative communication system called ‘remote monitoring factory connector’. This USB-CAN communication interface allows simple and highly efficient service support.
