ENNEPETAL, Germany – The 28 years old son of CEO Alfred Thun joined the family company and BB-set specialist Alfred Thun GmbH.
Alexander Thun acts as the company’s Director of Marketing. He is in charge of product segmentation, advertisement as well as the market launch of new products. “These are the crucial tasks for the future,” according to Thun. The bb-set specialist is on a Europe-wide growth curve. Concerning non-sensor and e-bike sensor bb-sets Thun considers itself as European market leader and as part of the global top three.
“The strategy is clear: Quality always before cost. All measures that serve our products will be taken.” Concerning classic advertisement as well as digital media and public relations new impulses for the supra-regional market development are to be placed. “With my team I will be able to make it. Actually it is pretty simple. Especially with complex products one has to have the courage to reduce to the essence,” says Thun.
