Gocycle Appeals to ‘6-Star Tourism Consumer

LONDON, UK – Karbon Kinetics Ltd. —manufacturer of the award-winning electric Gocycle— announced its first half year 2014 results, reporting a 53% increase in units delivered to trade vs. 2013. Interestingly, over a third of today’s Gocycles are now sold through at retail across Spain and its Balearic Islands, to the Super Yacht, marine and 6-star tourism consumer.

Gocycle is also experiencing promising success at high-end, premium auto dealership retailing some the world’s most prestigious and luxurious automobiles (Aston Martins, McLaren, Bugatti, Ferrari, Maserati, etc.). The company says that this is: “Not only because Gocycle’s automotive based design which is arguably the most arrestingly beautiful high-end electric bicycle, but also because it fits when folded down into the boot of a car.”

Interim CEO Paul Stratta says goodbye

Gocycle’s traditional IBD channel trade is up more than 20% this year across major continental markets, with a doubling in the UK. Against this background of growth KKL’s Interim CEO Paul Stratta is saying goodbye to the company. He says: “These last 15 months working from London as Gocycle’s Interim CEO has been a wonderful experience. We’ve been able to build and extend Gocycle’s commercial infrastructure within Europe’s mainland, developing from scratch those new strong markets across the Mediterranean coastal regions. After Eurobike 2014, I’ll be returning the reins of Gocycle to Richard Thorpe, the company’s founder, leaving in place a strong motivated team and strategy accelerating sales momentum of the G2 Gocycle.”

At Eurobike, Stratta’s final week at the helm, Gocycle launches the 2015 pre-season era with a continuation of the successful G2 model, introducing some new and improved on-bike accessories, experimenting with new colour ways to match the product’s iconic appeal, and delivering a suite of new marketing assets to drive sales.”
