French O2Feel Brings Fashion to E-Bike Design
ROUBAIX, France – It’s new model, the Swan should take riding an e-bike to the next level. The French O2Feel took a non-technical approach to seduce consumers to start cycling and named it, the Urban Chic.
In the past decade the French have learned about urban cycling via many bike rental projects like the well-known Velib in Paris. However e-bike sales started only very slowly in road race and MTB loving France. Nevertheless O2Feel created a wide network of dealers in France and Belgium since it was founded in 2010 by two French engineers, passionate about new technologies and worried about tomorrow’s world.
The Swan is O2Feel’s latest development and was presented as: ‘urban, trendy, handy and innovative’. It features a lightweight mid motor of just 3.1 kilogram (Shimano STEPS), a discreetly positioned battery below the luggage carrier and a removable display. For O2Feel the e-bike is a solution to contemporary problems of pollution and health.
“People can engage easily in physical activity while minimizing car trips. It allows fast movements, economic, without intensive effort and gives users the pleasure of traveling on two wheels,” states O2Feel on their website.
