According to Changzhou National Hi-Tech District with this 3rd facility Ming Cycle has now over 150 million US dollar invested in its production capabilities in China.

2015 production

Ming Cycle Taiwan founded Ming (Changzhou) Cycle Industrial in March 2000. In July 2001, the facility was put into production. Bicycles produced at Ming Cycle China are sold in over 30 countries and regions outside of China, including the U.S., Canada, Russia, Japan, South Korea and South Africa. In 2015, the company produced nearly 1.6 million bicycles as well as 1.2 million frames and front forks.

Ming Cycle Taiwan

Ming Cycle’s Taiwan operation is capable of producing 300,000 high end bikes annually. This is excluding the Strida folding bikes production. Ming Cycle is since 2007 owner of the unique Strida folding bike trademark worldwide. The company’s Taichung facility holds a special section where specialist mechanics are assembling about 20,000 Strida folders annually.

90% of Ming Cycle’s Taiwan production is exported to the European Union where the Cycling Sports Group (with the Cannondale, GT, Mongoose and Schwinn brands) is the biggest customer of the Taiwan bike maker.
