Cycling Sports Group Europe Appoints New General Manager

WILTON, USA – Cycling Sports Group, a division of Dorel Industries, announces that General Manager Elwin deValk of Cycling Sports Group Europe has stepped down and is to leave the company. Adriano Nascentes has been appointed the new GM of the European branch of the Canadian company.

Adriano Nascentes was previously the Chief Operating Officer for Cycling Sports Group Europe (CSG). Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Caloi, the Dorel Sports business in Brazil, for six years.

New perspective and positive change

According to Peter Woods, President and CEO, Dorel Sports “Adriano brings a strong record in delivering results to CSG Europe. I am confident that he will bring a new perspective and positive change to CSG Europe and, most importantly, our customers.”

Nascentes, who will continue to be based in Oldenzaal, will focus initially on building strong relationships with CSG’s European customer base as the team in Europe brings the MY18 product to market.

Earlier in his career, Nascentes held a series of positions at KRAFT Foods and Deloitte in both the US and Brazil.
