ST. GALLEN, Switzerland – Just founded in 2008, Swiss based Hirzl AG specializes purely in sports gloves. The company has become and expert in the golf sports business and is now entering the bike sector with a range of cycling gloves.
Hirzal is known for applying innovative technologies and high-end materials when it comes to high performance sports gloves. According the company’s philosophy gloves are often the essential piece of kit in a lot of sports disciplines. Gloves constitute the direct point of contact between the athlete and his or her equipment.
After the successful introduction of the Trust golf gloves some two years ago, Hirzl now expands their competence to cycling gloves. The company developed Gripp Tour gloves, available in a short finger (SF) and full finger (FF) version. The properties of these gloves are the result of the innovative Gripp technology that encompasses an elaborate tanning process of the finest kangaroo leather. According to Hirzl this special treatment guarantees up to three times more grip in dry conditions, and up to five times more grip in wet conditions.
The Gripp gloves also features breathable membrane on the back of the hand, the extremely light gel padding system, form-fit inlays in the palms and a low-wrist design. The high-performance cycling gloves will be launched at Eurobike and available via Hartje in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands right after the show. Hartje is in Hall B4, stand 502.
