Update on UCI Homologation at Taipei Cycle

LAUSANNE, Switzerland – At Taipei Cycle the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) is staging an information meeting on the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) frame & fork homologation process. Meetings held on January 13-14, 2011 between the UCI and 45 participants representing 33 bike companies belonging to the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) resulted in a re-evaluation and optimization of the procedures by which manufacturers have their products approved for competition.

At the information meeting during Taipei Cycle an update on the UCI homologation process will be presented. The information meeting is open to WFSGI members as well as non‐members.

Next to the update on the UCI homologation process for frames and forks participants will have the opportunity to address questions to WFSGI Secretary General Robbert de Kock, who will run the meeting.
