Milestone for German Dealer Association VSF
AURICH, Germany – The independent bicycle dealer association VSF welcomed its 300th member recently. Founded in Berlin in 1985 the VSF brings together bicycle dealers, manufacturers, wholesalers, service providers and non-profit organizations.
VSF’s latest member is the Magdeburg based bicycle shop of Jürgen Tschentscher. Supported by a staff of three people, the shop focusses on e-bikes and city bikes.
Exchanges of experience
“We are very pleased to see that the VSF continues to attract more and more quality and service-oriented bicycles businesses”, said Albert Herresthal, Chairman of the VSF. “Our members benefit from the exchanges of experience and advice among fellow businesses as well as their advocacy in governmental as well as non-governmental organizations.
With 300 members the VSF is now representing 230 IBDs as well as 44 manufacturers and service providers in the bicycle industry. As a non-profit organization, the VSF’s aim is to improve the overall conditions for cycling by lobbying in many political organizations.
