BRUSSELS, Belgium – The European Commission has granted the Collective of European Importers of Electric Bicycles a hearing, which took place mid January. This hearing allowed the Collective to detail their response to the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy complaints filed by the European Bicycle Manufacturers Association (EBMA) and to further develop their argumentation against possible measures.
At the hearing in Brussels the Collective of E-Bike Importers was represented by 5 importers. They are based in Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands and the UK. The importers were assistedby a lawyer from Squire Patton Boggs, the law firm that provides the Collective with legal assistance and by Annick Roetynck, LEVA-EU manager, who assists the Collective with the management of the Group.
