AMERSFOORT, Netherlands (November 14th) - On November 13th 2003 the Munich District Court set aside Shimano's preliminary injunction against SRAM's X-series trigger shifters. This was done through a standard opposition brought by SRAM. Sales, assembly and use of the said products is free again in Germany. It seems the injunction was obtained through a legal construction that initially excluded SRAM's ability to present their case fully before the court made their decision. A continuation of legal action is to be expected.(MH)
