Honda hits motorcycle Landmark
BANGKOK, Thailand (April 2) - Honda Motor Co. said that the cumulative production of motorcycles in Thailand has cracked the 10 million mark. Honda said Thai Honda Manufacturing Co.'s production was 10,005,473 earlier this month. Honda began production of motorcycles in Thailand in 1967. For the entire year, Honda aims to sell a record 1.35 million motorcycles in Thailand, up 6.2 percent from the previous year. The country's motorcycle market is expected to grow 8 percent to 1.9 million units, it said.(MH)
