HO CHI MIN CITY, Vietnam (May 12) - Vietnam grossed US$90 million from exports of bicycles in the first four months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 80%.
According to the local newspaper ‘Vietnam Economic Times’, the country earned US$154 million from bike export last year, an annual rise of 24%. The figure is expected to increase by US$300 million this year from exports to Germany, Britain, Canada, Denmark, Taiwan, Norway and the Netherlands.(MH)
