OTTAWA, Canada (June 15) - Webplan Corporation, a provider of comprehensive software and service solutions for Rapid Response Management, today announced that Cannondale has successfully deployed Webplan RapidResponse in order to manage constant changes in product and customer demand.
"With new bicycle models being released each year and with facilities spread across the globe, we require real-time collaboration and what-if analysis tools to rapidly and effectively anticipate and manage change, said John Nafis, Manager of Supply Chain at Cannondale. "Prior to deploying RapidResponse, our response management strategy was to maintain larger levels of safety stock, which tied up needed space and cash." (MH)
