DUBLIN, Eire (October 7) – The 2005 Velo City conference will be held in Dublin. The 15th of such gatherings, Velo-City 2005 aims to promote cycling, to provide a forum for communication, to provoke discussion and to show what role bicycles can play in an urban environment. Apart from presentations and discussions, Velo City will also involve hands-on events, like cycling events both within the conference as well as on the days around it. Even transport-site visits in the Dublin area are included. Dublin City of course, will present its integrated transport system which has been keeping up with one of the fastest growing city-regions in Europe. Dates for the conference are: May 31st – June 3rd 2005
