Bianchi/Liquigas Team: Return to Competition

VERONA, Italy (October 7) - The new Liquigas-Bianchi team has been presented during the Cycling World Championships in Verona. On the occasion of its 120th anniversary, Bianchi reasserts its position within the world of the on-road competitions in grand style in the year of birth of the Pro Tour. 120 years of cycling history, of champions, legendary feats and great conquests. From Tommaselli in 1898, through Girardengo and the unforgettable wins of Fausto Coppi, the successes of the great Felice Gimondi up to the triumphs of Marco Pantani: Bianchi never stops. On the contrary, the start-up of the new outfit Liquigas-Bianchi marks the solid presence in the racing world for over a century of the company based in Treviglio.
