AGEO-SHI, Japan (October 19) - Bridgestone Cycle Co., Ltd., Japan, has appointed Vertex Cycle Systems BV located in Noordwijkerhout -The Netherlands as from October 1st, 2004 to act as their distributor for the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). After their success in the Asian countries with an annual sales quantity of 1,300,000 bicycles, the company feels ready to supply and sell Bridgestone high quality bicycles in the Benelux market. These bicycles will be designed and built especially for use in several Northern European countries, starting in The Netherlands and Belgium. (MH)
