Bike.Market.Future 2005
BREMEN, Germany (October 28) - The second edition of bike.market.future will take place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 February 2005 in the Congress and Exhibition Centre of Bremen in Germany. bike.market.future is a European congress for independent bicycle dealers (IBDs) and their suppliers which was first organized this year.
The attendants gave that first edition which took place last February an overall enthusiastic reception. “Never before have I attended such a stimulating and rewarding series of seminars. All speakers proved to be experts in their field. They provided us with quality information that was both well researched and well presented”, said Nigel Hill, ETRA President and IBD himself. As a result, the two sponsors, Shimano and Schwalbe, reaffirmed their support for the 2005 edition. In the meantime, a third sponsor, Humpert GmbH has joined the financial support of the European congress. Bike Europe has also agreed to continue its role of international media partner.
bike.market.future is meant as a forum where the whole bicycle business, IBDs, national distributors, importers, manufacturers, can jointly develop a vision to expand the cycling market in Europe. The congress programme is made up of high quality seminars on business trends and policy opportunities that are relevant to all parties concerned. In order to make the bicycle business prosper, they need to confer and to cooperate with a view to increasing cycle usage in Europe.
