CLERMONT FERRAND, France (January 4) - The Michelin Group recently announced that between December 2004 and July 2005 it will raise the prices for all its tyres. The average price increase is about 5%. All Michelin tyres (for cars and trucks, agricultural vehicles, planes, two-wheelers etcetera) will face the price increase which is based on huge price hikes for raw material. According to Michelin between 2002 and 2004 these prices upped 40%.(JO)
