MILAN, Italy (December 7) - The Executive Council of Ancma – the Italian Association of Bicycle Motorcycle and Components Manufacturers- has resolved that starting 2005 the International Motorcycle Show will be held every year.
The International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition of Milan (EICMA), which is about to reach its 63rd edition, was held yearly until 1957, when it became a biennial event. In 1998 the Show had resumed its yearly frequency limited to the Cycle Sector. Starting next year the entire Show will be annual again.
The Executive Council of Ancma - staffed by 30 members - passed this resolution with a unanimous vote, accepting a request formulated by a large number of Italian and foreign Exhibitors, speaking on behalf of both vehicle and component manufacturers. (MH)
