COLOGNE, Germany (Jan 24) - Only a few weeks after the excellent registration figures for IFMA Cologne 2005 were announced, the Koelnmesse trade fair organizers are delighted to report still another positive development: In autumn of 2005 in Germany, Europe’s largest bicycle manufacturer, Cycleurope, will be exhibiting the brands Gitane, Puch, Spectra and Renault exclusively at IFMA Cologne. “In autumn 2005, we are planning to combine our trade fair activities and will be exhibiting at IFMA Cologne with the aforementioned brands at the top fair for doing business, the event that in 2004 again clearly showed us it is the right trade fair for achieving good business results,” said Thomas Kristensen of Cycleurope in explaining the company’s emphatic decision. As in past years, the Italian brand Bianchi will also be presented at the Cycleurope stand in Hall 14.1. The IFMA organizers see this as confirmation of their concept and the business focus, and they are confident in 2005 of once again offering the entire sector the optimal platform for business and communication. “We see the exclusive commitment from Cycleurope and the fact that many exhibitors from Germany and abroad have already registered as clear proof of our success,” remarks Oliver P. Kuhrt, Executive Vice President of Koelnmesse. In 2005, IFMA Cologne will take place from Thursday, 15th to Sunday, 18th September. For the first time, the bicycle trade show will be open to the public on two days, Saturday and Sunday. Additional information on IFMA Cologne is available at: www.ifmacologne.de. (press release)
