DUARTE, US (August 16) – The U.K’s leading auto magazine, Auto Express, tested twelve folding bikes. The Dahon Speed took top honors and was the only one to earn five stars. Delivering their verdict, Auto Express wrote, “Dahon's Speed D7 is the clear winner here. For the casual user who needs a bike that is not only simple to put together, but also fits in the boot with ease when folded and won't break the bank, it's ideal.” Dahon also manufactured the bikes that took second and third place and a total of seven of the top ten bikes tested.
Dahon collaborates frequently with the auto industry, currently supplying bikes for Land Rover in the UK, Corvette in Japan, VW in China, Toyota in China and Poland, with several more cooperative efforts reportedly in the works. (Press release)
