Humpert Expanding Product Range

WICKEDE, Germany (Feb 1) – Humpert is expanding the company’s product range for which the German component maker is stepping into new sectors of the bike market. The new products will be launched during this year’s Taipei Cycle Show that is held from March 8 – 11, 2006. Under its brand X-TAS-Y Humpert is presenting different road racing handlebar concepts. The German component maker will also present an expansion of its range of components for Trekking bikes. For road racing there will be an entry level alloy racing handlebar in AL 6061 T6. A hi-end alloy racing handlebar is made with AL 2014 T6 with a 31.8 mm handlebar-center. And the top of the new range is with a carbon handlebar. There are also stems developed in particular to be used in combination with the new handlebars including one complete carbon handlebar/stem combination. About Humpert’s new luggage carriers; a complete range of 5 different models have been developed in Stuttgart and will be produced in the Far East in cooperation with Humpert Asia.
